Karina & Jeff | Engaged! | Occoquan, Northern Virginia Engagement Photographer
Karina and Jeff are pals of mine, but have recently become "frients" (that's friend-clients for those unversed in my idiocy), as they've asked me to do the honor of photographing their wedding next May!
I've had the pleasure of getting to know these two better over the past year, as they are practically neighbors. While Jeff and I knew each other from college, I met Karina last fall at the tiki bar down the road from us in Occoquan. From the moment I met her, Karina was warm, genuine, and can strike up an interesting, hilarious conversation with ease (prompting me to immediately begin planning the color scheme for our BFF bracelets before we had even left). ;-)
Jeff is quite the smarty pants with a quirky sense of humor that I can definitely identify with. I can't count the times I've ended up laughing so hard over some ridiculous hilarity from Jeff's noggin that I became nearly incapacitated. Who better to be by his side than the magnificent sunfish that is Karina. <3
Their engagement session was a blast and a whirlwind, as we chased the sun from a field, down to a stream, to the Occoquan bridge, then headed to the arches at the Lorton art workhouse to play around for a bit after the sun went down. Phew! We were all over the place in a very small amount of time! We certainly started out with a bang, in a local field where the sun blessed us with amazing glowy goodness about 10 minutes into the shoot. I'm OBSESSED with those shots, and they were just the beginning! Enjoy a few of my favorites from these two *CLASSY sweethearts! Seriously, just wait until the bridge shots- they were lookin FLY. :-)
