Jacqui & Jose | Married! | Northern Virginia Wedding Photographer | Charleston SC Wedding Photographer

Alright, there's a LOT to see on the blog today, so buckle up kids. A couple of weeks ago, Jacqui and Jose had one of the most incredible days ever, and I'm pretty much in love with both of them, their family, and their friends (adopt me please?).  It was one of those weddings where the energy was contagious and intoxicating. You could feel the joy in the air.

First things first- I must give a shout out to their two furry children, Pepper and Chloe. If you've been following the blog for a bit, you may remember that they made an appearance in Jacqui and Jose's engagement photos.

They're back, and this time...IN. PINK. DRESSES. I die.

They were two of the flower girls for the ceremony, along with a sweet little girl- a curly haired beauty named Gemma, who became my best friend at the reception. :-) If you start scrolling down now purely because you can't wait to see them, I wouldn't blame you one bit.

A few more (of many) of my favorite moments from the day:

  1. Jacqui got Jose an AMAZING gift (the nicest watch I've ever seen) to open before the ceremony, and his reaction was priceless upon opening it.
  2. Lots of goofy faces made at my camera from the bride, groom, bridal party, and guests. ...My kind of people.
  3. The last song of the evening included the biggest cuddle puddle/snugglefest/group hug I've ever witnessed at a wedding while everyone sang at the top of their lungs, and it was amazing.

But most of all, I loved the way Jacqui and Jose were together. They laugh loudly and love strongly, and I have no doubt they will be having a blast together for many, many years to come.  I walked away from Jacqui and Jose's wedding with a tired body but a full heart.  Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of such a FUN and meaningful celebration.

Okay, now on to the good stuff. :-)

First look with Stepdad, and then Dad! LOVED both of their reactions!

Jose's mom sees her soon to be daughter in her dress for the first time. Not a dry eye in the room.

The boys enjoy liquid courage while getting spiffy, and soon it was time for Jose to open his gift!!!

I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS CURLY HAIRED, ADORABLE FLOWER GIRL. She and I became pals during the reception when she decided my leg was her favorite thing to cling to. New BFFs :-)

And like that, the AMAZING party was coming to an end. It was time for the big snugglefest ;-) and the last few shots of the evening. We made them COUNT.

CONGRATS TO THE NEWLYWEDS! Leave them some love and congratulations in the comments! Oh- and here's a bonus of these two being AWESOME and a great example of why I love them. <3
