Natasha & Evan | Engaged! | Northern Virginia and Charleston, South Carolina Engagement Photographer
I've been very, very lucky lately. I have had the pleasure of working with such creative, unique, and FUN clients recently, and I gotta tell ya- I'm diggin it. Big time.
We hit it off immediately, mostly just because these two are some of the most interesting folks you'll come across. I was ready to run home and immediately send friend requests/start Facebook stalking them to maybe learn their secret to being so dang cool (yeah good job Steph, that doesn't make you sound weird at all). They're big into travel (all over the world!) and place value on memories and experiences far before things, and to be honest, I'm super jealous of their awesome travel/adventure stories. They're quirky, quick with a smile and a hug, and most importantly, they're head over heals for each other.
Natasha has recently become a bit more into photography herself lately, and let me tell ya- the girl has got mad skills. She's already killing it! Diving straight into flash photography and studio lighting (something MANY photographers are too scared to mess with for a longgg time), she's been creating some incredible work recently. So keep an eye out for her when she's the next big thing. Seriously. :-)
So yes, I was instantly in love with these two when we met over coffee, but when they mentioned their idea for an engagement shoot with a WWII biplane, I almost crawled over the table to embrace them in the tightest, longest, most awkward hug/snugglefest ever (that would have went over very well, I'm sure haha). A note to future clients- DO THIS. Come up with an idea that is special for you, and the more unique, the better! I was in HEAVEN.
Natasha & Evan- thank you for being so fun and planning this. It was incredible and I know your wedding will be a million times better. :-) Congratulations to the happy couple, and a big thanks to Brown Aviation, LLC for letting us use his AWESOME historical plane for the shoot! Enjoy a few favorites- Cheers! <3
Are they not the cutest?!
^^^Yeah, I'm in love with that one, forever and ever amen.
We then moved to the nearest field for a few shots while we waited for the best light of the evening (about 10 minutes before the sun hits the horizon)...you'll see why in a sec. :-)
AND THEN. IT WAS TIME. The descending sun set the field on fire.
...not literally of course but JUST LOOK AT IT! :-) I wanted to swim around in that light.
Yep. Y'all rock. <3 Cheers!
Oh yeah- and a bonus because I was a big fan of this one.
